With a 40-year history of developing innovative capnography solutions, Respironics Novametrix prides itself on offering capnography solutions that have been expertly developed and rigorously tested to comply with industry standards for safety and performance. As a recognized global leader in capnography, we have developed established a strong distribution network of over 80 OEM partners worldwide.

Novametrix Medical Systems, incorporated in 1978 and sold pressure monitoring and transcutaneous devices and later developed capnography, pulse oximetry, flow, volumetric capnography, and noninvasive cardiac output products. In 2002, Novametrix was acquired by Respironics, a global sleep and respiratory medical device manufacturer.

In 2008, Royal Philips Electronics acquired Respironics. Respironics Novametrix, LLC is a subsidiary of Philips and is dedicated to the design, development and manufacture of capnography products. The product portfolio offers both external mainstream and sidestream sensors as well as integrated OEM solutions. The company is headquartered in Andover, MA.
